Case Studies Learn Blog Grubhub Enterprise Sign in to Dashboard LevelUp Scanner Setup Guide Follow this guide to set up your scanner Included in the Box Scanner button Scanner (LP200A) Scanner Cable Set Up Your Scanner The LUP200A LevelUp Scanner supports connecting to your point-of-sale (POS) device by way of both Bluetooth and USB. Please choose your set-up procedure based on the connectivity mode your device supports. Bluetooth Setup Connect the Scanner Cable to the back of the Scanner. Plug the Scanner Cable’s USB jack into a 500mA or higher USB power adapter (not included). The Scanner should immediately illuminate green, then briefly go dark, then begin “breathing” white (slowly fading from dim to bright). Within 30 seconds of the scanner illuminating white, scan the following QR code to initiate Bluetooth pairing: COMMAND:PAIR On your tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled device, navigate to the Bluetooth pairing screen. From there, you should see a device labeled LevelUpScanner1234 where 1234 are the last four digits of the serial number printed on the back of the scanner. Select this device to pair. When pairing succeeds, the Scanner will illuminate white and begin “breathing” (slowly fading from dim to bright). No pairing code is required. If pairing fails, please try again. The Scanner will stay in Bluetooth pairing mode for one minute. If the device starts breathing white before pairing succeeds, you will need to restart the Bluetooth pairing process by unplugging the Scanner from its power supply and proceeding to step 2. Once pairing succeeds, the Scanner is installed and ready to use. To pair with another device, please repeat steps 2 through 5. USB Setup Connect the Scanner Cable to the back of the Scanner. Connect the other end of the Scanner Cable to one of your POS device’s USB ports. If the POS is powered on, the scanner should immediately illuminate green, then briefly go dark, then begin “breathing” white (slowly fading from dim to bright). The Scanner is installed and ready to use. Unpair Your Scanner (to switch to USB, for example) Power off the scanner, then remove the pairing from your tablet or phone. Plug the Scanner Cable’s USB jack into a 500mA or higher USB power adapter (not included). Within 30 seconds of the scanner illuminating white, scan the following QR code to initiate Bluetooth pairing: COMMAND:PAIR When you scan the code, it clears all pairings then becomes discoverable + pairable.
